The shopping event where residents can do all their pre-Ramadan purchases at one place is set to roll in Sharjah. Promising five big days to stock up all your essential requirements for the upcoming holy month, the Ahlan Ramadan Exhibition will be held at Expo Centre Sharjah from March 31 to April 4, 2021. .

“With the holy month of Ramadan just a few days away, hectic preparations are already under way, with retailers adapting their operations in readiness for major changes to shopper flow; and residents stocking up on all essentials they require for the special month which is a time for fasting, self-reflection, prayers, family and get-togethers,” said H.E. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah.

“There is a clear uplift in retail traffic in the run-up to Ramadan and that is the precise reason we have introduced a new fair to tap into that demand despite having a full-fledged Ramadan and Eid fair. Ramadan Nights is held annually midway through the holy month. The Ahlan Ramadan Exhibition will cater to the higher demand for goods and services, and offer a safe, secure and convenient place for shopping,” he added.

Since the past three decades, Expo Centre Sharjah has been organizing the region’s hugely popular multi-products Ramadan Nights family shopping and entertainment fair that runs for more than two weeks from midway through Ramadan and concludes before the Eid Al Fitr holidays. The Ahlan Ramadan Exhibition will now act as a precursor to the Ramadan Nights.

At the Ahlan Ramadan Exhibition, residents can expect their favourite brands and retailers such as Al Mandoos, Brand Bazaar, Nine West, Gant, Lasenza, Lacoste, Fila, Home Style, Belissimmo Perfumes and more . The exhibit profile includes all household items, clothing, footwear, handbags, cosmetics, accessories, Ramadan necessities and food items.

“Consumer behavior changes considerably during Ramadan. Usually, retail traffic and sales pick up as early as two weeks before Ramadan, encouraging retailers to spruce up their stocks of staple products, household goods, clothing, and every essential item that is in demand during the season. With the Ahlan Ramadan Exhibition, we bring together all the leading retailers under a roof for the convenience of residents,” said Mr. Jacob Varghese, Liz Exhibition’s, event partner at Ahlan Ramadan.

The Ahlan Ramadan Exhibition, which will serve as a one-stop shop for all Ramadan essentials including bulk buying, gift items and bespoke packages, will be open from 10 am to 10 pm. Entry ticket is priced at Dhs 5 while parking is free.
